Low Battery?

Battery DeadIt was one of those days. I went to start my car and it wouldn’t start because my key fob battery was low. Throughout the course of the day my phone battery died and I was unable to make or receive calls. I had no charger with me and neither did anyone else nearby.

How many times this has happened lately. I go to use the cordless drill; battery dead. The kids go to ride their 12 volt atv or car; same story.

This is the time of the year when I like to replace my smoke alarm batteries, so I decided to do just that. Guess what? No smoke alarm! Now that’s a problem. Not sure what happened there. Not even sure what that has to do with this post, but if you’ve seen my smoke alarm (uh um.. Brendan, Logan, or Harrison), please return it or tell me where it is.

What about you? How many times do you feel like your battery has ran low? What about today? Why not join us this Tuesday evening at 7:30 for a re-charge? Even if you’re feeling fine, it may not hurt to go ahead and make certain you have a full charge for what may lie ahead.

Thanks for reading and we hope to see you this evening! – Pastor Fox

grow-2Please join us this coming Tuesday evening as we continue our series “Grow” which has been our theme for 2016. We will examine some principles for growth found in the Word of God. This study could help launch us into the next phase of spiritual and numerical growth and you don’t want to miss it.

If you know of someone who would like to grow in their Christian walk, please invite them to join you. If you want to be a part of a growing church that is seeking not only to grow in number, but to experience all that God has for them, come check us out.

You are welcome to come and be a part of this Bible study regardless of who you are or where you are from. We will do our best to make you welcome and set you at ease while we look into the Word of God together.

Bible Study begins at 7:30, but the doors will open at 7:00 P.M. for those who want to come early to pray. We look forward to seeing you!

Community Bible Study

Bible Study GroupExciting. Engaging. Enlightening. Those are just a few words that describe how we feel about the Community Bible Study taking place on Tuesdays at 7:30 P.M. We think you will enjoy being a part of a group of people from different walks of life coming together to learn more about the Bible.

You don’t have to wear our label to come. You don’t have to wear a particular style of clothes to come. You don’t have to drive a certain kind of car to come. You don’t have to live on a certain side of town to come.

You are welcome to attend this time of fellowship in the Word of God with us. You will find friendly, caring folks that simply have a hunger to know more about God and His Word. We want to reach out to our community and make it a better place. We want to get to know you and give you opportunity to meet others.

Please join us this Tuesday evening at 7:30 to study the Word of God together. You are welcome to come early to pray together. Doors will be open at 7:00. The Bible Study typically lasts about an hour so you could be on your way home by 8:30 P.M. That’s less time than we give to things of far less importance, and the advantages are worth far more than the time and effort we invest in coming.

The Community Bible Study will be held at 15540 Lee Highway in between Skyland Coin and Jewelry and Economy Inn. You are encouraged by these businesses to use either of their paved parking lots if our lot is full. You are also welcome to pull wherever you can find a place in our front lawn if you prefer a really close spot.

We are looking forward to seeing you. Call a friend and ask them to join you!

Community Bible Study

Bible , Pen, & PaperIf you have a love for the Word of God or at least value it and wish to understand it better, we invite you to join us for a Community Bible Study. This Bible Study is not about a denomination or religious affiliation. It is not about talent or social status. We are simply coming together to study God’s Word on a myriad of different topics that will help us all in our living for God and just living life for that matter.

It’s also place for community to come together. It’s a place to meet new people and strengthen relationships, but especially our relationship with God. It’s not a place where you will be put on the spot by asking you to verbally respond to questions you may or may not know the answers to. You don’t have to dress up to come. Some will, but some will also come straight from working in the construction field or the hay field. Everyone is welcome!

This Community Bible Study will be held at 15540 Lee Highway in between Skyland Coin and Jewelry and Economy Inn. If the parking lot is full, please park at either of these businesses. They encourage you to do so.

We may also meet occasionally at other locations or you may even want to see one held in your community or in your home. If that is something that would interest you, please contact us for information. Better yet, come check it out to see what it’s all about. We will meet Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. and we hope to see you. You may also join us at 7:00 P.M. as we pray together. We need to pray for our leaders both locally and nationally. We need to pray for churches and church leaders. We need to pray for one another and for souls to be saved. You may have a particular prayer request that you would like us to pray with you about. If so, please ask the greeter when you arrive for a prayer request card. You can fill it out and return it to the greeter.

We are looking forward to this time together in the study of the Word of God. Please invite a friend to come with you and be a part of this special evening!
