Conductor Leonard Bernstein was asked, “What is the hardest instrument to play?” His reply; “The second fiddle. I can get plenty of first violinists, but to find someone who can play the second fiddle with enthusiasm – that’s a problem. And if we have no second fiddle, we have no harmony.”
We are thankful to have a great team of folks at The Apostolics of Abingdon who work so hard behind the scenes. There are the ones who clean the church, take care of the maintenance, make phone calls to those who may have been absent, go on outreach, visit the sick, pray for their pastor, prepare food, give financially, and the list goes on.
They do it without expecting accolades. They do it from a heart of love. They do what they do as unto the Lord. Be assured He does notice and He keeps good records.
Thank you to each of you who give of yourselves so faithfully to the work of God. The Scripture mentions that God set “helps” in the church (1 Cor. 12:28). We are grateful for all you do to help make everything possible. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
