Control – It’s something we want to possess, but so often feel like we have so little of. It’s not that our motives are always wrong for wanting to be in control, it’s just that we want to determine the outcome or at least know what the outcome will be. Often, we think we know how much better things could turn out if we were in control of the outcome. If that’s you; relax. God is in control and He always knows what’s best. He knows how it’s going to turn out because our God is already there. He is eternal and nothing catches Him by surprise.
The psalmist tells us that “this is the day which the Lord hath made.” The word “made” means more than the fact that the Lord created this day. If you look up the word “made” in it’s root form it means “to govern, to maintain, to have charge of.” What it really means is God is in control of this day! That should cause you to breathe a sigh of relief this morning and be able to go ahead and rejoice (by faith) and be glad in this day knowing He is in control!
Why not join us this Tuesday evening as we rejoice together in this day? There will not be another one just like it. Take opportunity to celebrate it with us at 7:30 P.M. We will look forward to seeing you!
Now go enjoy your day and don’t allow worry rob you from being glad. God bless!
