Father’s Day

Father and child handI will be a Father unto you….
2 Cor. 6:18

Please join us this Sunday as we celebrate Father’s Day together. While we want to take the time to honor the fathers among us, we will ultimately come together and worship our Heavenly Father on this special day.

We will enjoy fellowship one with another, hear a message that will be applicable to all, pray together, and worship our Creator.

Service begins at 2:00, but doors will open at 1:30 P.M. for pre-service prayer and we encourage you to come pray with us. We look forward to being with you.

Teach Us To Pray

Praying-Hands-over-BibleMaybe you know all there is to know about prayer. Possibly you never struggle with your prayer life. You do as the Bible says; you “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17). You are consistent in your regular prayer life. You get all your prayers answered just as you request. If that be the case, you are probably among the minority, and IF that is the case, you may be excused from Tuesday night’s study. On second thought, maybe you need to come so that you can contribute to the rest of us. On third thought, maybe you need to come and “pray through” until you can be honest with the rest of us :-)

The fact is there are times in all of our lives when we struggle with our praying. Even one of the disciples asked the Lord to “teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1). That alone is a good prayer to pray. Especially as we approach this series we are involved in regarding prayer.

Why not join us this Tuesday evening at 7:30 as we continue this series on prayer? We will be so glad to have you with us and we think you will enjoy a time of study and fellowship with others of various backgrounds who are desiring to draw closer to God.

We are conveniently located at 15540 Lee Highway in between Economy Inn and Skyland Coin and Jewelry. If our parking lot is full, these kind neighbors encourage you to park in their paved lots next door.

We look forward to seeing each of you. We also encourage you to share this post with a friend and invite them to join you.
