Suffering Series Continues

Suffering (Man #2)If you’ve never had any problems…. No sickness, no relationship struggles, no financial distress, never faced any losses, then you are excused from Bible Study tonight. Actually, you probably should go ahead and come for two reasons; Number one, you will have problems in this life. The Scripture declares, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble” (Job 14:1). Unless of course you were not born of a woman (If that’s the case, we have other issues to be concerned about and you should probably still come). The other reason is because if you say you’ve had no problems, you may have an honesty problem and the best place to get help with that would be in church.

The fact is, we all have troubles from time to time of various sorts. It really does rain on the just and the unjust alike. Peter wrote, “the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world” (1 Pet. 5:9b).¬†We will have problems in or out of the church, but I’d rather have problems knowing the problem solver than to be without His help. Let me be a bit repetitious for those who have been attending this series. I don’t want to face any surgeries, but if I must face one, I’d rather face it knowing the Great Physician. I don’t want to go to court, but if I must, I’d rather go knowing the Great Judge of all the ages. If I have to face the storm, let me face it knowing the Peace-Speaker is on board.

Whether you are facing something currently or you just need to prepare for the storm to come, we invite you to join us this Tuesday evening at 7:30 as we continue our series. Doors open at 7:00 P.M. for those who can come early for pre-service prayer.

We are conveniently located at 15540 Lee Highway in between Skyland Coin and Jewelry and Economy Inn. As a matter of fact, if our parking lot is full, these kind neighbors encourage you to park in their paved lots. Come join us for a great evening!
