Those words don’t seem adequate when we consider the goodness of both God and men toward us at our recent Pastoral Installation Services. We are certainly grateful for over eighteen ministers that were present to show their love and support for what God is doing at The Apostolics of Abingdon. We are thankful to have saints from other churches who, with the blessing of their pastors, came to celebrate with us. It was also great to have some folks from the community to join us during these special services.
The preaching of the Word of God was beyond amazing. Without a doubt we as a church body received direction that could have only came from God. I am convinced what happened in these two services will propel us forward into an even greater revival and solidify some things in our hearts that needed to be.
To the church congregation, please understand that there was a union that took place in our assembly that was orchestrated by the Holy Ghost. What God has joined together, let not man separate. Let’s endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit. By God’s grace we will continue to work together to see souls saved and lives changed for the glory of God.
So many expressions of gratitude need to be offered to so many, but we certainly don’t want to overlook the One who arranged it all; Jesus Christ. We give thanks to the great Head of the Church for all that transpired during this landmark event. The singing, words of exhortation, anointed preaching, and spirit of unity was all because of Him!
